Wire diameters of 7/16" and below are typically processed on Wheel
Crimpers due to the throughput speed and reliable accuracy of crimping
wheels which are manufactured to extremely close working tolerances. |

order to hold the dimensions within the required working tolerances,
often within +/-0.0002", the wheels are EDM wire cut from
pre-heat treated D-2 tool steel blanks. |
